Main highway for short period then turned off to find the Ho Chi Minh Road again.  A bit of an adventurous way getting there the road I took was in the process of being rebuilt about 15km of it.  It was turned into a dirt, potholed, narrow winding section.  I imagine the road will actually be really good when it is completed looking a bridges they are building for the time being no action was happening but it was the middle of the 3 hour lunch break I think.

Back to the picturesque Ho Chi Minh

Lunch – Pho Bo and another sit at a table with locals trying to speak to me.  Think these guys were actually a bit drunk.

Afternoon snack – Pho Bun (a stewed beef soup)

Dinner – Pho Bo.

My Nha Ngahi (guesthouse).  I had the only room without air con and one of the tiny bathroom windows  in the concrete wall below the big window rooms for my view.  My other window looked into the stairwell. I don't understand why they don't take advantage of their surroundings?!
